Former World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar and opposing coach Junior Dos Santos take charge of fourteen energized Welterweights. Intense evaluations leave one fighter's future in the balance. And the first Preliminary match up is fought.

The pressure becomes too much for one fighter, forcing him to quit the competition. After a stirring speech from Brock, Team Lesnar faces Team Dos Santos in the second preliminary fight.

Brock has to explain himself after a post-fight comment offends his fighters. Team Lesnar suspects that one of their own could be consorting with the enemy. And two fighters leave it all in the Octagon for the third Preliminary fight.

In the welterweight season final, Tony “El Cucuy” Ferguson, who won all his fights on the show by KO/TKO, took on Ramsey Nijem, a fellow welterweight prospect who finished all his opponents as well, two by submission and one by KO/TKO.
